Installation Flexible Track Lighting
Flexible track lighting – The tracks can be bent and curved to create fluid lines and interesting patterns. Even after installation, the lights can be moved, added or removed from the system, if necessary. These systems can be purchased home improvement stores or specialty stores lighting kit systems. Installation of these systems requires a basic knowledge of electricity and some tools.
Determine the layout of the flexible track lighting. Turn off the circuit to the junction box where the lights are installed at the breaker box. Check the wires with a voltmeter to check that no current flows through the pipes. Mark with a pencil where the track will be installed. Anchors placed at the bends in the track for optimum support. Install the track using a drill and a screwdriver to install the brackets and supports. Each manufacturer has a different track set-up.
